Who Is Wandering Travelista?

Hi, I’m Alexandra, the traveler and writer behind Wandering Travelista.

I created this space to share the places I’ve discovered, the road trips I’ve taken, and the little details that make a journey memorable.

I love exploring Europe by car, taking the scenic route, discovering beautiful towns and hidden corners, and turning those experiences into practical guides for fellow travelers.

Why I Travel

Travel has always been my way of slowing down, staying curious, and seeing the world from a different perspective. I love the feeling of arriving somewhere I’ve never been before, wandering through unfamiliar streets, discovering a beautiful viewpoint, or finding a small place that wasn’t on the original plan.

For me, the best trips aren’t necessarily about ticking every attraction off a list. They’re about the experiences in between — a scenic drive, a quiet morning in a new town, a local restaurant, an unexpected detour, or simply sitting somewhere beautiful and taking it all in.

That’s what I want to capture here. Not just where to go, but what it feels like to be there — with practical information to help you plan your own journey along the way.
